I will need an initial meeting to discuss your requirements and aspirations. Once this has been carried out I can quote you for the services you will require.
A measured survey will be carried out following confirmation of instructions, as existing plans are required as the start point of your project. Following this I can start on the proposed design as agreed and developed during our initial meeting. I will issue drawings in draft for your consideration with alternative options if they are required.
Once the design has been agreed we will probably need to apply for planning permission. Some projects can proceed under permitted development. I will discuss what is needed for your scheme during the process.
Following the design stage and approval of Planning Permission, further details are required for Building Regulations approval (Building Control) and for your Building Contractors to build too. These construction details will add to the planning information
Depending of your design, Structural Calculation for Steel Beams may be required. I work with Structural Engineers for you or you are welcome to introduce your own consultants to assist.
Should your project require the full architectural service, I can produce contract documents, tender and manage your project from start to completion. I can discuss your requirements when necessary.
